I have taken a course at the
Emergency Management Institute (EMI) in Virginia and the National Fire Academy is also housed there and has some courses that might be applicable. There is also the bomb course at
New Mexico Tech that I have not been to but other colleagues have and highly recommend.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] WMD/HAZMAT training
Hi all. Is anyone aware of any WMD or HAZMAT training offered in the United States? I know of the training at Anniston Al and Mercury Nevada through Department of Homeland Security and FEMA.
I was just wondering if there were others offered out there, maybe something not offered through a government entity. I currently work on a WMD/HAZMAT team where we utilize a mobile repsonse lab and also have a mass decon. trailor.
Thanks in advance,
