Can’t make it to San Francisco’s chemical safety workshops? No problem!
Midwest Chemical Safety will be presenting Essential Information and Training for Chemical Hygiene Officers at three American Chemical Society Regional meetings this fall:
SERMACS – Nashville, TN – October 16th
MWRM (Midwest Regional Meeting) – Columbia, MO – November 14th
SWRM (Southwest Regional Meeting) – Ft. Worth, TX – November 19th
Registration is open for all the meetings. Go to http://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/meetings.html and follow the link to the regional meeting that is most convenient for you.
This is a risk-based workshop! After covering fundamental material, we will be looking at exposure evaluation and control and perform risk assessments on typical laboratory operations such as Grignard preparation, laser operations, research operations and other operations. Bring your questions!
