Clemson University has an opening for a Radiation Safety Officer for the Office of Research Safety (ORS). The primary responsibility of this position is to direct the administration and management of the radiological safety program for faculty, staff, students, and visitors at Clemson University in compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations. Applicants must possess strong leadership and management skills.
Minimum - HS Diploma. Preferred ? Master?s degree in radiation safety, health physics, radiological sciences, engineering, industrial hygiene or closely related degree and direct experience as a Radiation Safety Officer for a broad scope license. 3-5 years of related experience in a radiological program. This position reports to the Director of the Office of Research Safety.
