Debbie:
Our faculty include several pages of photos of the glassware and apparatus in the laboratory manuals that they create/maintain. This works wonderfully and I suggest that your faculty consider this option, as
well.
Contact me directly if you wish to discuss in detail.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Poster of common glassware
I need a poster of images and brief descriptors of common laboratory glassware. Our young’uns arrive without knowing the lingo. I’ve had no luck, mining the interwebs, beyond this link:
http://www.chemiasoft.com/chemd/node/53. I’ve emailed them but have heard nothing. It’s really good but I need a poster. We can create it ourselves but I’d prefer to save ourselves the work.
I’ve tried the usual suspects – Flinn, Carolina Biologicals, ScienceLab – to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Debbie
