I have noticed the same problem. We purchased UVEX safety glasses which were more adjustable than others but more importantly, we purchased adjustable lanyards that help hold them in place.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] safety glasses for non-caucasian scientists
Hi All,
We have a large number of students of Asian or African descent and we have noticed that safety glasses often do not fit their faces well leaving significant gaps and generally falling off their faces due to variations in nose shape. Does
anyone have any suggestions as to better solutions for safety glasses for these people?
Thanks,
