Office of Public Affairs
Dear Chemistry Ambassador,
With the school year ending across the country, students are looking forward to a summer spent relaxing. Teachers, on the other hand, are planning now for the fall school term. Help elementary and middle school science teachers in your community by sharing these free educational resources from ACS.
Inquiry in Action: A resource for guided, inquiry-based activities that grade 3-6 teachers and students can use to supplement physical science curriculum.
MiddleSchoolChemistry.com: A resource of guided, inquiry-based lesson plans for grades 6-8 that covers basic chemistry concepts along with the process of scientific investigation.
These resources are also perfect content for summer camps, scouting groups and other youth activities. Use them to teach chemistry to young people you know or share them with teachers in your community. And please, share your feedback about these materials by emailing us at chemistryambassadors**At_Symbol_Here**acs.org.
As a Chemistry Ambassador, you can help ACS to improve science education and spark interest in science for young people in your community. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Nancy McCormick-Pickett
