The Desert Research Institute has an Environmental Health and Safety Officer opening at their Reno campus. This position requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biological sciences with laboratory emphasis, or environmental science with laboratory emphasis from an accredited institution and at least six years of progressive occupational safety experience with significant independent responsibility for chemical/laboratory safety, preferably in an academic or research institution with at least two of those years of occupational safety experience at the professional level.
