A question has arisen here that the list might be able to help with. Has anyone developed a checklist that helps incoming Principle Investigators identify the range of hazards associated with their new lab so that we can easily direct them to the appropriate safety support services and training? This would cover as wide a range of lab safety issues as possible, including chemical, biological, radiation, waste disposal, mechanical and electrical safety issues.

Pointers to useful resources along this line would be appreciated.
