I want to thank the ongoing help of Dr. Rob Toreki of ilpi.com with the computer aspects of this work. The system he put together for tagging and organizing these reports has been remarkably robust of the nearly 2.5 years it has been in place.

And a big thanks right back to Ralph for manually reviewing and processing these ***thousands*** of reports over the years.   If he spends just 15 minutes a day, three times a week reviewing/processing them, that's 39 hours a year - a full work week for "normal" folks, and I suspect that's an underestimation.  Not to mention the extra time he spends making reports like the one he just presented.

In the interest of additional year-end stats, the DCHAS-L archive for 2012 contains 1,593 postings, up from 1,343 in 2011; much of the increase  could be attributed to the prolonged UCLA discussions.  But then again, 2010 had 1,591 postings.   Maybe one of our more prolific members took a sabbatical in 2011...
