Did the UCLA response (actually the Regents of the UC response) to the lab fires and subsequent fatality address this? My personal belief and practice is to require fire blankets, coupled with training on their use in areas where highly flammable materials are stored and used.

A question arisen about whether fire blankets should be part of a response to a person on fire in a laboratory. What is the current thinking on this issue?
