I wanted to let DCHAS members know that the DCHAS web site at
http://www.dchas.org
received a major upgrade to the backend and facelift to the look and feel of the site as a whole last night. I've been working with the web site administrator for the last few months to complete this in order to assure the ongoing stability of the site and improve the readability of the site.

One of the key features of the new site is a significantly improved file library module. PDF versions of most of the powerpoint files from the Philadelphia symposia are now available there, at
http://www.dchas.org/file-downloads/category/76-2012-fall-national-symposia

I'd appreciate any comments or questions people have about the new site.

Thanks for your interest in DCHAS!

- Ralph

P.S. I've had reports of some errors related to the timeline on the home page of the new site. This error appears quite intermittently and appears to be related to the operating system and browser used to visit the site. If you receive a error when you load the home page, please let me know what operating system and browser you are using to help us track down the cause.
