We use SiteHawk because we are a subsidiary of Corning and that=1B$B!G=1B(Bs what they use.

I helped with the selection process and we were pleased with the price as well as the features.  We could pick the features we wanted to pay for and I never felt pressured into features we didn=1B$B!G=1B(Bt need.  We do not upload our own files, but adding a new MSDS is as simple as an email.  The system is web-based, which makes access super easy.  Management members with smart phones can access the mobile site, though I have never used it.  I=1B$B!G=1B(Bm not sure if they have any academic clients, but the license is a site license, so you don=1B$B!G=1B(Bt have to worry about multiple user names if you don=1B$B!G=1B(Bt want to.

We don=1B$B!G=1B(Bt have as many chemicals onsite, so that might affect your pricing.  I did feel like the pricing was very transparent with no hidden fees to get going.  The customer service has been great too.

Overall, I would definitely pick SiteHawk again and I feel good about recommending it.

If you=1B$B!G=1B(Bd like our rep=1B$B!G=1B(Bs contact info, feel free to email me directly.

Good luck!

Subject: [DCHAS-L] electronic MSDS system

Hi everyone:

We are looking to supplement our paper MSDS records with an electronic management system. We hope that this will simplify with searching our large database of chemicals (>13,000) plus aid in maintaining an accurate inventory for regulatory compliance purposes.  We just upgraded our access with Stericycle to include MSDSOnline but I=1B$B!G=1B(Bm somewhat unhappy with what I=1B$B!G=1B(Bve seen thus far. While extensive, I=1B$B!G=1B(Bm finding their database to be not as current as the MSDSs I currently have on hand or the available versions are not from the specific vendor I require.  Additionally, there is no way to scan/upload MSDS to the system if we wanted to include MSDS of our internal compounds or of chemicals from obscure, smaller vendors.

Does anyone have experience with an electronic management system that you like and would recommend?  And a system that incorporates the ability to upload files as well?

Thank you in advance.

~Kate
