Check the ANSI Z9.5,ch 5.1.1 (Differential Pressure and Airflow Between Rooms).
Also in the OSHA Lab Standard (29 CFR 1910.1450 Subpart Z Appendix A)- “direct air flow into the laboratory from non-laboratory areas and out to the exterior of the building.” Keep in mind these are non-mandatory
and the word “should” is used.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Negative Pressure Laboratory Regulation or Standard
Does anyone know if there is a regulation or standard which requires labs to have a negative pressure relative to hallways? Thanks.
