Hi Kim –
FYI. Below is a link to another UCLA guidance document on the selection and use of PPE.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Lab coat selection information?
I'm looking for guidance on lab coat selection. We've always recommended rated FR lab coats for high-fire risk work, 100% cotton for some fire risk work, and poly blend for low risk lab work.
I'd like to post a written guideline for our researchers to follow. After all your help with my initial lab coat laundry survey, I found these 2 items and was wondering if anyone else had written guidance. I have not yet uncovered any official regulatory or consensus documents for lab coat use.
