I have a question for the group:

We are about to add additional fume hoods in our labs and I would like input from the group regarding the use of low flow or high performance hoods. Does anyone have experience with such hoods and have they found them to be acceptable for use with common solvents. Are there any downsides to their use?

Thanks,
Darlene

Should questions be sent to you or someone else or does one simply send the question to DCHAS-L**At_Symbol_Here**MED.CORNELL.EDU?

The procedure is that you send the message to the address above and I am notified that it is ready to be reviewed. I check to be sure that it is appropriate for distribution and then approve it.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.
