20-25C is a good range. I believe the USP also says that if a chemical storage room is above 30-35C for more than 24 hours the stability of all chemicals should be re-evaluated. I once had to scrap about 100 bottles of assorted chemicals because of a problem with our AC in mid July.
I think to be safe the room should be kept as close to 20C as possible. Another range I have heard cited, which I think applies to clean-room environments, is 18-22C.
