A TRUCK rollover in the Pilbara overnight closed a section of Great Northern Highway overnight 80km north of Newman.
Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said the triple road-train carrying LPG and chlorine gas bottles rolled about 8.30pm on the highway 80km north of Newman.

A package of potent curry powder forced the evacuation of a western Sydney mail centre last night, the ABC has reported.
According to the ABC a number of postal workers were overcome with sore throats, coughing and wheezing after examining the package about 7.30pm.
Hazmat, fire and rescue teams, police and paramedics were called to the scene.

FIRE PARTLY DISRUPTS LUKOIL CHEMICAL PLANT'S OUTPUT
Tags: Russia, industrial, fire, injury, petroleum
Russian oil company Lukoil Holdings said a fire Thursday at its Stavrolen chemical plant in southern Russia injured six people and partly disrupted production, according to Dow Jones Newswires.
It was unclear when the fire, which broke out around 2 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), would be put out and to what extent it would affect production, a company spokesman said.
The Stavrolen plant produced 684,000 metric tons of petrochemicals, mainly polyethylene, last year.

Tags: us_CA, education, explosion, response, bomb, illegal
The San Luis Obispo County Hazmat team was sent to investigate and clean up after someone detonated a device commonly called a chemical bomb shortly before 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Atascadero High School.
Atascadero police said the explosion of the small chemical bomb did not cause any permanent damage and no one was hurt. However, it is a felony to make and detonate one of these devices.
The bomb maker apparently combined household cleaning supplies in a plastic bottle and sealed it causing a chemical reaction that made the plastic bottle expand and eventually explode, a process frequently taught in high school science classes.
