All of this points up a flaw in the ASTM standard test for gloves. It only provides for testing of chemicals that are liquids at room temperature and pressure, not for solids or solids dissolved in a liquid. The exception are common chemicals thatare actually gases dissolved in water like hydrochloric acid or ammonia solutions. I've never seen a substance on any glove chart that was a solid dissolved in water. So I think you are on your own as far as I know.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Glove chart that lists sodium azide?
Does anyone have a chart that lists the permeation times for sodium azide?
Thanks,
