The compressed gas industry uses Nomex when dealing with issues involving o xidizing gasses - like Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide, etc. However for normal operations we require cotton-only clothes (and in some c ircumstances welding apparel), as synthetics melt into the skin. Not pretty .
