On December 19, 2007, four people were killed and 13 others were transported to the hospital when an explosion occurred at T2 Laboratories Inc. during the production of a gasoline additive called methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl=E2=80=9D
I'm disturbed that this gasoline additive is in production. Both EPA and the Canadian equivalent banned the use of manganese additives due to their neurotoxic potential once our roadsides replace the lead from additives with manganese dust.
Both Agencies were over-ruled in the courts by a coalition of industries filing suit. We'll regret it one day.
