My solution was to get a strap for a scuba mask fit it to the goggles. This in conjunction with a strap protector has alleviated the problem. The two links below are exam ples of what I am talking about. You can probably take the mask into a loc al dive shop and get the appropriate strap. > http://www.diversdirect.co m/scuba-diving/tusa-m21-tm7500-mask-strap/ > http://www.diversdirect.com/ scuba-diving/deep-down-slap-straps/ > Hope this helps. > Andy > > F rom: DCHAS-L Discussion List [mailto:DCHAS-L**At_Symbol_Here**list.uvm.edu] On Behalf Of Kri sti Ohr > Sent: Thursday, June 03, 2010 11:05 AM > To: DCHAS-L**At_Symbol_Here**LIST.UVM.EDU > Subject: [DCHAS-L] Goggles with alternative straps? > > Hi everyone, > > I have a laboratory worker who claims to have an issue with how the str ap on chemical splash goggles puts pressure on the back of the head (specif ically with where the strap puts pressure). I've already suggested that pe rhaps the strap is too tight, but apparently loosening the strap doesn't so lve the problem. Also the strap tends to migrate back to this same nuisanc e position if it is moved up or down slightly. Does anyone know of goggles which use an alternative strap position, or perhaps that don't use straps? I've had no luck in locating any. > > Thanks for any input, > > Kristi >
