Eric,
All very
good points. I teach
a bit of forensic science myself at a small college in Texas from time
to time (usually forensic toxicology) and have a Clinical appointment at
the Colorado School of Public Health in Denver.
I'm
reminded of when I was presenting a poster on smoke inhalation, cyanide
poisoning, and cyanide antidote treatment at the World Association of
Disaster and Emergency Medicine conference in Edinburg, Scotland and the
Australian fellow at the poster next to me was wearing a shirt that said
on the front:
"Specialist in Chemical and Biological Terrorism Preparedness and
Response". On the
back, it said: "If
you see me running, hold your breath and try to keep up."
I really
like your idea of reagent-specific label templates. This would be good for
other laboratories to adapt.
Perhaps you would share them?
