Such a vague question.=A0 What kind of laboratory?=A0 How familiar are the occupants with the abbreviations (acronyms?)? =A0Who knows shorthand?
I don’t mean to be critical of the poster but the question begs this kind of response.=A0 If there is even one occupant that is not familiar with the abbreviations or the procedures in the laboratory it is best to avoid abbreviations.

What is your opinion of allowing laboratories to use abbreviations and short hand as long as a key to those abbreviations is kept in a conspicuous location and is clearly identified?
