I am working with faculty to determine a “green chemis try” approach to a general chemistry class for university freshmen, i.e. Chemist ry 101.  The purpose of the approach is a safer and more sustainable teac hing method as well as our lack of budget to support engineering controls for solvent use during the class.  Currently, we are looking at the Americ an Chemical Society (ACS) for possible leads.  We are searching for conta cts who may have taken this approach for their curriculum.  If you know of anyone who has implemented such an approach can you please pass their contact information to me.

Thanks in advance,

Michael
