Debbie:
Did biological agents or asbestos containing materials come in c
ontact with the vacuum lines? Any history of listed chlorinated sol
vents? If so, then perhaps faceshields and googles are the approp
riate PPE.
I'd recommend segregating the rinsate and presume you'll man
age the rinsate as a California-only waste.

Hi Gang:
A project manager has just asked me for some sort of clearance/cleaning procedure for vacuum lines in a lab renovation project.& nbsp; I=92m inclined to tell them to flush out the lines with hot soapy water, rinse thoroughly and then set about whatever they need to do to remove/reconfigure the vacuum system.
Anybody else have any other bright ideas?
As always, they=92re under construction and thi s request will be holding up progress <sigh>.
Thanks,
Debbie
