the tool is now available.  Users are able to assess occupational exposure
to dust, vapours and mists for use in connection with the European REACH
regulations.

Based on feedback from users of the beta version of the ART tool we have
implemented quite a lot of changes to the user interface, such as a =B3quick
revision=B2 function, =B3report=B2 function and =B3save as=B2 function. We are
confident that these modifications have improved the user friendliness. Why
not try it out.

The next release (ART v1.1) is scheduled for March 2010 and this version
will include exposure to fumes from hot and molten metals.

Please circulate the web link (www.advancedreachtool.com) to anyone who
might be interested in the tool. Feedback about the tool can be made via the
ART website.

ART tool has been developed as a collaborative venture between TNO, IOM, HSL
and a number of other European scientists.

Exposure to flour is still one of the most important causes
of occupational asthma in the UK. Official advice is to avoid
creating airborne flour dust at work, but this is not the
image portrayed in newspapers.
