Also remember that not one particular lab coat is the best for all laboratories, etc. In most of our research labs, we went with cotton lab coats with snap closures since we felt pyrophores were our greatest risk for significant harm. So in that situation, a 65% polyester coat would not be a good choice. As with most things, one needs to do a risk assessment and try to find the solution that best balances those risks. Ken
