If you are
interested in learning the approach we are taking at Yale with respect
to handling pyrophoric liquids (and specifically organolitium
compounds), you can take a look at the training program we have put
together [link below] . We are (for the most part) consistent with
the procedures found in Sigma Aldrich's technical documents but more
restrictive in some areas and slightly less in others. We have
tried to address the safety issues in a very practical way.
