Man, that brings me back to cold mornings trying to get my 1970 Ford Maverick started. I wouldn't try this on a diesel engine unless your engine has an ether injection system. First, you'd have a hard time figuring out where to put it (since there's no carburetion) and if you put it in the gas tank you might pop the heads with the pressure. I can still see the flames shooting out of the carb...
