Good morning, In each section of the new standard, under Maintenance and Training, the un its are to be inspected annually - read "shall" - to ensure adequate flow, connections, etc. The units are also required - read "shall" - to be checke d weekly for normal operation. Would there be a point to require checking and not documenting? We used pre-printed cards when the inspections were only required monthly, now we use a spreadsheet. The document has to be presented when asked, or a determination of "Not Done" is entered in the inspection sheet. Lab/Pilot Plant Managers and Supervisors get these results.
