We have them here in our older building (Sabin Reed), they worked great, but for whatever reason the architects did not utilize them in our new building. You're welcome to come over and take a look, but come soon as we're going to be most likely pulling them during upcoming renovations... Margaret A. I'm specifically interested in the back-to-back configuration of these in the center of the room (as opposed to the around the perimeter of the room layout). We're in the process of planning a new chemistry building, and are considering the kind that have an actual glass barrier between the hoods so that the hoods are not dependent on one another. Does anyone have these in their labs, and if so, what sorts of problems have you had with them? Thank you, Kristi Evenson-Ohr Amherst College
