I have just completed the September DCHAS-L subscription update using the ACS' membership roster information. Previously, this has created some confusion as people who have signed off the list find themselves back on it or an old e-mail address gets included from the ACS records. If you don't wish to receive e-mail from DCHAS-L, the best thing to do is to send SET DCHAS-L NOMAIL to LISTSERV**At_Symbol_Here**LIST.UVM.EDU so that this preference can be maintained as long as possible as future membership updates are applied to the list. The list is moderated, and my goal is to limit the number of postings to 10 per day. Sometimes, this means that I will collect several responses to the same question into a single posting for the ease of the readers; no endorsement of the information contained in the postings in implied by this editing process. Archives of the list discussions can be found at http://list.uvm.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=DCHAS-L If you have any questions about or need help with DCHAS-L, let me know.
