Heads up Dr. Young: I was next to a scuba tank
stored in a VW bug with all the windows up when it explode in the
late 1960s. The valve ring let go due to overheating by the sun. I guess
the tank was current on its inspection but the valve ring could not hold
the expansion at 3000+psi, it was luck that no one was hurt because
glass went everywhere like a grenade, it also blew out the dash board
glass.
The 2 tanks below it were fine with no loss of pressure or
noticeable damage. I think if all 3 had exploded the entire car
would have turned into pieces of flying projectiles, and I would have
given up the ghost. I think we all need to think twice and act once at
our jobs, we owe it to our future Einstein's that have not reached their
potential yet. (SMILE AND BE SAFE)
Respectfully; Glenn Gordon
