Safety Contracts - First of all - you probably would be better off calling it "safety acknowledgement form" in lieu of "safety contract!"=A0 The idea is that you are informing the students or having them acknowledge the fact that the lab is a dangerous place to work and in order to make it safer - ( not "safe!"), they must follow the legal and best professional practices yo u are providing. =A0 Relative to the time for holding the items -=A0The statute of limitations f or negligence in most states is 3 years for the date of the harm.=A0 Hope t his helps - =A0 Ken Roy Kenneth R.
