Neal,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It is a very elegant and well-thought-out system. Over the years , many chemists and safety experts have proposed sophisticated systems for compatible storage. One concern I always have in recommending a system is h ow easy it is to understand, implement and maintain by all the people who are involved. A complex system may be very rational, but is too often abandoned after a few years because it is just too hard to sustain. I always consider risk as well. I always want to keep fuels separate from oxidizers, but except for earthquake-prone areas, what are the chances of two closed containers mixin g, even if they are stored side-by-side on a shelf? Maybe our time would be be tter spent on ensuring the proper use of PPE, or assessing and reducing exposure s.

Thanks again for passing this along.

Pete
