If you were using a GC-MS system or something similar that could be contaminated by Snoop, soapy water etc., then it would be a bad idea to use such substances.  In systems like that you ideally use a helium (or other specified flammable gas etc.) leak detector.

Has anyone out there heard of a prohibition on using "Snoop" to check hose and gas line connections on compressed AIR cylinders (not used for breathing purposes) ?

Thanks in advance for any info.
