Re # 1: A/ Never put broken glassware into the basin to be washed. B/ Never put more than one piece of glassware into the basin to be washed. Wash it as soon as it is immersed. Remove it after it has been washed. Re # 2: Glassware that is chipped. cracked, or fractured, etc. has reached the end of its usefulness and should be discarded.
