Many of our hoods and enclosures have pressure switches on the blower intakes that sense a failure. We still check with a velometer each month and service the systems (belt changes, etc.) every six months regardless of performance. It will not only confirm that your safety controls are functioning properly, but also make the Students & Faculty more confident in their working environments.
