Colleagues - are you there? I am very much interested how those of you who have or work with hydrazine in the lab deal with any quantity of hydrazine spills. I would greatly appreciated if you have could share or relate any procedures, references, or experiences for or with this specific substance. I am also interested in your experience with methylhydrazine (monomethylhydrazine, MMH) and unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (1,1-dimethylhydrazine, UDMH). I would like to prepare a review paper on control and mitigation of hydrazine (and these derivatives) spills, so any input would be most appreciated. I value the input of those who actually handle this fluid, supervise those who do, are involved (or would be) with spill response, or perhaps have some other related experience. I am trying to capture the widest variety of hydrazine spill control and mitigation procedures and experiences (extending beyond my affiliations). Sincerely, Ben Benjamin Greene, Ph.D. Senior Scientist Jacobs Technology Inc. NASA White Sands Test Facility PO Box 20 Las Cruces NM 88004 575-524-5761
