Director of Emergency Management Yale University is seeking an experienced professional to head the Universi ty's Emergency Management function, with responsibility for the planning an d management of the overall response to campus emergencies. This includes d eveloping and revising emergency preparedness, disaster recovery, and busin ess continuity documentation and policies, and implementing related trainin g; working with state and national agencies to coordinate emergency plans a nd procedures; and training personnel on emergency plans and procedures. To qualify You must have a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Business Adminis tration, Health and Safety, or another related field and at least 10 years of administrative experience. Experience in the development and presentati on of training seminars and programs; strong public speaking, presentation, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are also required. A Master's degree, experience working in higher education, strategic plann ing experience, and professional development training certifications in Eme rgency Management from FEMA, NEMA, or related agencies are preferred.
