As a point of clarification, yes, Appendix A was formally published
today and became effective today.  The clock starts today, making the
deadline for submission of the Top Screen January 19, 2008.  For
colleges and universities applying for a 60-day extension, the new
deadline would be March 19, 2008.

information about the upcoming webinar "Completing the Top Screen:
Compliance Advice for Universities on the New Chemical Security Rules"
