Colleagues, As you know, 28 October is our Deadline for accepting papers for the New Orleans next April. How about thinking creatively this Friday afternoon? What was the most exciting safety problem you encountered during the last year or two? Wouldn't it be a great topic to share in our New Orleans Meeting since we'll have BOTH AICHE members and ACS members to listen??? Please consider submitting a 15-20 min presentation describing what happened, show a few pics, what you've done to insure that it doesn't happen again, and include any presentation material you may have developed to teach about this "danger". This is what we do all the time, right? Consider sharing your most interesting such incident. You'll be glad you did!! ALSO - Likely you know someone else who had such an experience. How about asking that person to submit a short presentation? A personal invitation may be all that the person needs to get moving. I like to remember acs.org It couldn't be simpler, and it does permit anyone to get to the How to submit a Presentation section. After going to acs.org Select Meetings then, Spring 2008 then, Technical Programs - Submit an Abstract or go directly to http://oasys.acs.org/acs/235nm/ oasys.htm ........... Couldn't be easier!! I'd love to be inundated with your insightful presentations! And don't forget about our Symposium Only New Orleans Party! tba Laissez les bon temps roulez! Cheers, George
