Subject: Reactive Chemicals Workshop UPDATE
As this list knows, I am developing a new workshop for the Process 
Safety
Alliance under the direction of OSHA and the Center for Chemical Process
Safety.  The first open presentation will be in Boston as part of the 
CHAS
programming for the ACS.  See http://membership.acs.org/c/chas/ for more
information and
https://secure.hostwizard.ws/chemical-safety.com/chas/regform.htm to
register.
 
Once this workshop is in final form, it will be presented by VOLUNTEER
instructors using the developed materials.  I do not yet know how we 
will
select instructors, but if you are interested, the very minimum 
requirement
will be to attend the workshop.  Given that the cost is only $50, there 
will
be no free attendence, even if you really want to help with the later
presentations.
 
So, if you are interested, register for the Boston presentation and 
speak
with me there. (PLEASE do not swamp me with emails for more information 
on
being an instructor - you know what I know and I will post more as I 
learn
more.)
 
Registration is moving along, but I urge you to sign up to attend and
participate.  This looks like it will be an interesting, informative
workshop.
