I have a copy NFPA's Working Safetly with Compressed Gases that I use to train our new investigators. It pretty much follows the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) Pamphlet P-1. It's a great tape. Prior to buying the video, I used the old CGC slide-and-tape show, which was also based on P-1. They have a video that covers the same info, although I haven't seen it. The reason I went with the NFPA video is that the state ADA policy requires that videos have either opened- or closed-cap tioning and the CGA video is not captioned. - Diane Amell, MNOSHA >>> Ralph Stuart5/1/2007 6:58 AM >>> It appears that the ACS no longer distributes the video on compressed gas safety. Does anyone have suggestions to help this person? - Ralph From: ulab-seguritox**At_Symbol_Here**usb.ve Subject: Safe Handling Procedures Date: April 30, 2007 8:08:23 PM EDT Dear Sir I am a Chemical Safety and Toxicology Professor at the Universidad Sim=F3n Bolivar in Caracas (Venezuela). These days we have realised that technicians and teacher are handling gas cylinder in an unappropiate way and we have had some incidents lately. I wonder whether it is possible to obtain any audiovisual material, like DVD, CD or video, related with Compressed Gases:Safe Handling Procedures I would deeply appreciate any advice that ACS could give us in order to garantee a safer university to everyone. Thanking you in advance for your kind attention and looking forward to hearing from you, Helena TERUEL LEVITSKY Chairperson SEGURITOX Unidad de Laboratorios Universidad Sim=F3n Bol=EDvar Caras, Venezuela
