Subject: Campus Fire Forum 8 - Special Announcement

Campus Fire Forum 8 - are you going to be there?
November 7, 8 and 9 in Chapel Hill, NC

It's getting closer...the premier conference focusing exclusively on
campus fire safety - Campus Fire Forum 8, and we have a special
announcement about a pre-conference program!

Starting off the conference on November 7 will be our keynote speaker,
Dr. Denis Onieal, superintendent of the National Fire Academy. Then we
have days full of informative programs including marketing fire safety;
inspection, testing and maintenance of extinguishers, sprinklers and
fire alarm systems; Greek fire safety; the Princeton Review questions
and much, much more.

The cost of the full Forum is $375 and includes all three days of
educational and vendor exhibits and we have a special rate at the hotel
that makes this a very cost-effective training opportunity.

You can look over the full schedule and register online by visiting our
website
 .

Free Preconference program on November 6!
On Monday, November 6 we will be offering a daylong, free,
hands-on training opportunity open to anyone who wants to participate...

Practical Fire Safety Education for Students - "From Simple to
Grandiose"

This is a pilot delivery of a training program being developed
by the Center for Campus Fire Safety under a Fire Prevention and Safety
Grant from the Department of Homeland Security. You will have an
opportunity to take part in this cutting-edge program that will provide
invaluable information about how to develop your own fire safety
training program and techniques and tools that you can use in reaching
students on your campus. Along with a classroom session will be an
afternoon of hands-on training exercises, including building a mockup of
a student room and burning it as a demonstration.

Really, really important information (or as Google says, "not the usual
yadda-yadda")
Please read! (Sorry about this, but this is how we have to do
registration since they are separate programs...)
