Good point. HF is special. Use calcium carbonate or calcium hydroxide as the spill absorbent/neutralizer. Seems like I remember that this is better than sodium bicarbonate because it prevents or minimizes the evolution of fluorine gas but I'm not sure. Anybody know if this is true? Here's another tip...
