I also suggest checking the date on the gloves if so labelled. "Old" boxes are more common now as the use of Latex gloves has decreased and inventories are sold. Once a box is opened, deterioration definitely accelerates. I found that putting a small number of gloves in a plastic bag and flushing with nitrogen, reduces deterioration significantly. I did this to store Latex gloves as a First Responder. I have now changed over to Nitrile gloves where this is much less of a problem. Most likely cause of problems is indoor ozone and low air turnover. --Bill
