We can not let things like Don is talking about cloud the reason we are teaching students. Besides student have to take responsibility for their actions. If we do everything for them, how are they going to learn to protect themselves and where to find the information to help them do that. I remember when I was a student and a Lab assistant in college. We did not have MSDSs, but we were taught and I taught lab and chemical safety as the first day of lab and reinforced it with each new experiment. In my four years in college and three as a lab assistant I only saw one accident and the person who got hurt did not follow instructions or heed the safety warnings at the beginning of the experiment.
