Bryan added an additional comment when I asked permission to pass his initial reply along. From: "Franklin, Bryan - Geismar, LA"Subject: RE: [DCHAS-L] Laboratory Risk Statement Date: Thu, 12 Feb 2004 16:55:52 -0500 As a general statement, such as would be found on a syllabus, this is good. It contains the necessary elements, i.e. a statement of the risk, means of protection and the source of additional information. I reviewed this with one of our corporate safety auditors as well as my immediate superior, who has 10+ years experience with OSHA. They agreed that this was a very good general warning provided, of course, that the Health and Safety Plan for the facility contained more detailed information. Bryan K.
