This is written in response to John Keller's question about
toxicologists (see appended message).
The authors of the papers which will be read and discussed
by the undergraduate students are:
Gary Trammell, University of Illinois at Springfield
Barbara Foster, West Virginia University
George Wahl, Jr., North Carolina State University
John Singley, Marshall University
John Pingel, University of Illinois at Urbana
Dawn Lee, SUNY at Brockport
James Hutchison, University of Oregon
Todd Houts, University of Missouri at Columbia
Kathy Benedict, Pfizer PGRD
Harry Elston, Editor, Chemical Health and Safety
Ralph Stuart, University of Vermont
As far as I know, none of the presenters is a certified
toxicologist. All of the presenters have strong backgrounds
in chemical safety and chemical hygiene training which includes
some toxicology. Since many of the presenters are part of
environmental safety groups they have access to a toxicologist
if questions arise they cannot answer. Toxicology will
be one of the topics covered in this course.
